Texas Big + Pool + Hottub + Bar + 8 bedroom+ Ping Pong + Mother-in-Law Suite

Amazing stay for our group. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with everyone. We especially loved hanging out in the backyard — the bar area with ping pong was so much fun. The family dining table that seats 14, overlooking the pool and with surround sound, was a really nice touch for our group dinners. The house itself is massive with fun, stylish decor and super comfy beds. The private suite was a great bonus too! Overall, everything was great and we will definitely be back!

The property is nothing like the photos, I would never book this property again.

For starters the house was infested with flies and roaches. The dishwasher was full of brown moldy water that leaked all over the kitchen floor. The WiFi password did not work. The hot tub did not work and was extremely dirty! The a/c never cooled the house. The mop that I tried to use to mop the dirty water from the kitchen floor smelled awful! The bedding and towels were dirty. The trash cans outside were completely full so we had to put trash on the curb and on top of the cans. The “in law suite” smelled like sewer. Thank goodness we were there for only one night. We could not even clean the house properly because there were no cleaning supplies and the cans outside were completely full. Only good thing from this the house was spacious enough to accommodate my entire family. The house is extremely old and outdated. Even the furniture had rips and one of the dining chairs was broken.

The communication was not timely with instructions for check-in and how to access property. I sent an hour and half trying to reach the host through VRBO listing with no response. Thanks to the neighbor across the street for walking over and contacting the owner who he knew personally. Once we finally got inside of the house, it smelled very musty and did not look or smell clean or ready for guest. The sliding glass doors on the front were also unlocked and able to be opened from the outside. We entered the house and began to see dozens of dead roaches everywhere and that was only the first3 rooms we looked at. We took photos and left because this place was not fit to stay in. The photos looked great online but it seems like no one is caring for or cleaning the property. The host messaged they would send me check-in details by 11am on our arrival day and never did. The host also wouldn’t respond when I tried to contact them multiple times in 3 different ways (VRBO inbox, phone call and text message) We had to call the VRBO customer service to try and get help. They also could not reach the host. This was a work trip for 10 adults. We were tired and ready to settle in and get rest for the next day and this became the most frustrating ordeal. I feel we were being scammed and the whole deal felt shady. I am working on getting a refund and expect it in full. I would never recommend this listing to anyone visiting this area.
