Step into the bedroom with queen-size bed and a view of the mountains or relax in the combined claw-footed bath/shower. This charming cottage is perfect for a private retreat or as a base for your Santa Barbara getaway. Off-street parking allows one to take a ten-minute walk to Santa Barbara's vibrant downtown area, where numerous restaurants, art galleries, cinemas, boutiques, shops, and cafes are situated. Located three blocks from State Street, approximately one mile from Santa Barbara's historic Mission, approximately two miles from the beach/waterfront, 30 miles from the Santa Ynez Valley and the Channel Islands off shore, this cottage is perfectly located for your Central Coast vacation. The owner Janet was extraordinary, extremely helpful.
The house was very clean and it was beautiful.

I am definitely recommend it to my friends and if we go back to Santa Barbara we for sure will stay there.
You can walk to Downtown but need a car to go to the beach.

Lovely tree top get away. The accommodations were everything we wanted. It has a comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom with a claw tub. The kitchen had all the gadgets we needed. The living room area was comfy and the art work was well displayed. It has an old world charm. The location for us was just perfect. We also loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer available for use.

I stayed here for over a month. It is a delightful cottage in the trees surrounded by a lovely garden. The abundance of birds make it a true tree house. Janet was extremely accommodating, kind & helpful. The cottage amenities give it a true old world feeling. It is very centrally located in Santa Barbara within walking distance to several parks & eateries. She made all allowances for my pup. I was very comfortable there and felt at home. Thank you

Clean, eclectic, and unique historic Santa Barbara compound with off-street parking for one car. The owner / manager, Janet, lives at the front of the property and is very attentive. The only thing missing was a propane grill for barbecuing (there is a Weber charcoal grill available). I would stay there again without hesitation.
