In this three-bedroom, two bath home that has been immaculately updated and is full of comfortable style, modern lines and a whimsical color palette make being here happy and fun. Situated between Hope Ranch and San Roque, the location offers a peaceful neighborhood retreat while being close enough to enjoy the vibrant offerings of Santa Barbara and its surrounding areas. The primary suite is a sunny room with a king-size bed beneath sunset-facing windows and a sizable walk-in closet for the long-term guest to unpack numerous suitcases with space to spare. The en-suite bathroom showcases a drenching rain shower that will wash away the day's cares. Be sure to appreciate the whimsical bird pillows in the bunk room, where a full-size bed beneath a twin sleeps two to three guests. The third room with a queen-size bed can double as a place for studying or working remotely at the desk. The hall bathroom with a tub-shower combo is adjacent to the kitchen and laundry, with a European-style washer and dryer, and a door leading outside. As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months. Head to The Boathouse on Hendry's Beach, five minutes away, for French Toast and a mimosa with an ocean view. The backyard will ultimately be the #1 place to be. Multiple areas invite coffee in the morning at the four-top or a home-cooked barbecue dinner at the dining table for six. After the sun sets, save time to linger in the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. Watch the little ones play on the expansive lawn and savor those long summer evenings inside or out.
