Off the beaten path, tucked in the Carmel Valley Mountains. 4000 sq ft. home with 25' ceilings, 4 en-suite bedrooms and an abundance of peaceful indoor/outdoor spaces to relax. Beautiful views can be enjoyed from multiple patios and decks which overlook the pool. Be prepared to enjoy a beautiful drive through the Carmel-Valley vineyards as you escape to this mountain paradise which is surrounded by mountains and trees in the heart of Los Padres National Forest. Enjoy the view from one of the decks. This space is great for a quiet weekend away from the city. You can explore Carmel Valley, Monterey and Big Sur, or simply enjoy the peacefulness of the property and surrounding atmosphere itself. The kitchen is perfect for preparing any meal. Cooking utensils, dishes, pots and pans, a refrigerator, gas stove and ingredients such as olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and filters are provided. Consider stopping for groceries prior to your arrival, especially if your stay is only for one night. Once you arrive, you will not want to leave. *Guest Studio is available to book ( see link below). While the guest studio does not share any common spaces or amenities with this home, I suggest you book it if you consider yourself a very private person and do not want anyone else on the property (link sent upon request) Our prices include all fees. Last 24 hours of our stay, we had no power, no water, and absolutely no generator, candles or flashlights - locals told us this happens often and no indication from owner. We had 7 people in the house and couldn’t even flush a toilet, and no internet or cell service to get any info or assistance from owner

The home is large and well kept. The only problem was managing temperatures, especially first floor and lower bedroom level. The location of the home was stated generally in the promotion but the road from the house to Carmel Valley was more dangerous than expected.
