Michele was a wonderful host. She responded promptly to all of my questions and provided great recommendations for places to go in the neighborhood. She checked in via text during my stay to see if I needed anything while giving me lots of space. I loved the decor and furnishings, and the private courtyard in back was the perfect place to relax with a cool drink after a busy day. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and it is a 15 minute walk or less to grocery stores, bike rentals, coffee shops, amazing restaurants and a major busline to the French Quarter and downtown. If you like music, Frenchmen Street is lined with clubs and just a few streets away. I would recommend this cottage to anyone traveling to New Orleans who wants a comfortable and charming place to stay while experiencing another side of the city.
