While transit is available, having a car is highly recommended for ease and flexibility. Within 10–15 minutes: Navy Yard, Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, The Wharf (great restaurants & waterfront), and all major DC attractions. This is a local residential neighborhood – not upscale, but a quiet block near a main road. It’s not a walkable area for shopping or dining, but everything is very close by car or bike.
