Washington Convention Center which is located above the Mount Vernon Metro station. The Shaw Metro station is 3 blocks to the apartment. The largest grocery store in DC (Giant Foods) is about a 10 minutes walk right on P and 8th streets. This space is also shared with upstairs unit but there is plenty of street parking available! This apartment is a newly renovated ground floor (no stairs), easy access apartment with new kitchen, bathrooms and floors ready to accommodate you, your friends and family in the center of Washington DC! This apartment has a full kitchen with high end appliances, a full laundry with washer and dryer, digital cable and high speed broadband wireless. Fully air conditioned with new high efficiency systems. The dining table seats 6 people. The beds are all queen size and so is the pull out sofa/bed! " surface wipe down " but it nneds a thorough scrubbing. We could not wait to get out of there. The owners have a beautiful kitchen and really nice appliances and the property shows well. The couch needs a thorough steam clean. It was just not a pleasant stay. It could have been really nice but the owners need to do some work on cleaning and my guess I they have a broken clay sewer line that is generating the musty smell and the bugs crawing in through the drain. The neighborhood is Up and coming but some of the streets and buildings are sketchy, would not like to be out late at night in this neighborhood.
