Independence Lodge is centrally located to the top attractions in the area: Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, The Island, Pigeon Forge, & Gatlinburg. This is an accessible cabin! Our cabin offers a comfy living space with two master suites with full en suite bathrooms, an upstairs living room with tons of sleeping space, 2 fire places, a DOUBLE deck with amazing views, porch swings, steamy hot tub, & fire pit. What you can expect when you stay in our cabin: INDOOR SPACE: • 1500 square feet • Fully Accessible on main level (verified by Airbnb) • Fully Equipped Kitchen- all the large and small appliances, pots and pans, dishes, and coffee. • Two King Suites --one on main level, one upstairs • Two En-Suite bathrooms: dual sinks, custom open air showers • Blazing fast Wifi • Smart TVs in every room --BYO password for streaming apps • Mini Multicade • Old School Nintendo • Two living rooms with year round electric fireplaces, 55\ TVs, and board games --Two sleeper sofas upstairs and one sleeper sofa downstairs- equipped with upgraded mattresses • Washer/Dryer • All linens provided, including hot tub towels ----------------------------------------------------- OUTDOOR SPACE: • INCREDIBLE MOUNTAIN VIEWS • DOUBLE deck • Two swings on deck • Rocking chairs and side tables on deck • Hot Tub on second level of deck (open year round) • Fire Pit with Adirondack chairs • Grill ---------------------------------------------------- LOCATION: • Prime central Smokies location • 15 mins to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood • 20 mins to Gatlinburg Village • 20 mins to Great Smoky Mountain National Park • Close to restaurants, shopping and so much entertainment ---------------------------------------------------- PETS: • We allow ONE dog per booking. If you have a second furry friend you would like to bring, message me before booking. Depending on the breed, I may make an exception for an additional fee. Please contact me. Bringing your pet means you agree to the following: PET RULES: 1. Absolutely no dogs on any furniture. 2. The dog MUST be crated when/if left alone. 3. You will need to clean up after your pet both inside the cabin (hair) and outside. This is not part of the cleaning service. 4. Any and all damage done by your dog will be billed to and paid for by you. -------------------------------------------------- • NO SMOKING. NO EXCEPTIONS. • NO PARTIES. NO EXCEPTIONS. --------------------------------------------------- • Booking guests must be at least 23 years of age. Third party bookings are not allowed on VRBO and will not be accepted. --------------------------------------------------- OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE: • This cabin is best suited for 6-8 adults max, couples, one family, or two families with small children for a total of 10 guests. 10 adults would likely not be comfortable due to sleeping arrangements in only three rooms and two bathrooms. • Check in and check out times are firm. • BYO firewood, charcoal, and matches. • It's not uncommon to encounter wildlife in the mountains. There have been visits from deer, bear, and turkeys. • Sneaking a cat in or an unauthorized dog or other pet will result in a $200 fee. • Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. Please respect this or you'll be asked to vacate. • We do not offer refunds for weather related incidents. Please purchase travel insurance. • The entrance road is curvy and steep but paved - like most mountain roads in the area - even our little Honda handles it like a champ! Drive it once and you'll realize it's a breeze. 4x4 is recommended in snowy weather. • Because this is the mountains, there will be bugs and other creatures. The cabin is treated monthly by a local, professional pest control company but please note- it's not possible to make the space entirely pest free all the time. Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
