Cons: There is no trash pick up. You have to put all your trash bags into your car (eww) and drive them into town to throw away at the trash disposal location. They will charge 25 bucks per bag of trash you leave behind! Additionally, the steps leading down to the front door were dangerously icy. When I let the management company know, they said I had to shovel the snow and ice myself. I did that since I didn't want any of my family falling down the stairs. Note- even though you get the key at the location with a code, they will not give you the code until you drive to the property management location 10 minutes away and wait in line (for me the line was 25 minutes).
The house itself was perfect!! Pictures do not do it justice. The backyard was amazing and it had the perfect sledding hills right there behind the house. There is plenty of space for my family, kitchen had all the cooking tools we needed…it was just perfect! Thank you Destination Big Bear for another great stay!
