Beautiful, Spacious Home, minutes to the Old Port!

We stayed for night with couples and friends. We had an amazing time and the place was so clean and exactly as described.

My family and I had a great visit to Portland Maine to celebrate my husband 60th birthday. The house was very clean and the host was very accommodating. Excellent communication with the host always got back to me in a timely manner with any requests that I had asked. Very convenient location only 15 minutes away to downtown. Very pet friendly which was a plus for us.

The location was ideal for our visit with friends in the Portland area. The place was clean, had central air, and the beds were comfortable. The house had some uneven floor transitions and a few patched walls but overall a comfortable and convenient stay!

Was a great property and location. About a 15 minute drive to Old Port. Responsive host. Spacious and clean interior. Had all the basic ammenities we needed except clothes washer/dryer. (Which we knew would be the case from the listing description). Backyard with a deck and firepit was nice for sitting outside. There was some nearby construction going on during the day that we could slightly hear from inside, but otherwise the neighborhoods were really quiet at night and it was a peaceful street. About the shared backyard, future renters will want to know that the property is actually a split home. The apartment tenant is where the garage would typically be in front of the parking. And then the rental is the full remainder of the house, there are two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs above that apartment. And then downstairs is the kitchen/living area and two more bedrooms and another full bath. It was a little unsettling at first knowing the house was shared (hadn't seen anything mentioning it on the listing other than "shared backyard") and it seemed like there was a doorway between the two spaces so initially I was worried about tenant having a shared enterance into our space. But after staying a couple days, we felt comfortable with the space because the tenant never came through there and seemed to have a separate enterance. They were actually great neighbors, very quiet and we never noticed them there! Would definitely recommend this rental to others and book again
