It's an escape for days spent riding bikes, walking along the shore, and enjoying West Seattle's excellent restaurants and shops, with all the wonders of childhood awaiting you back at home. This single-story bungalow sits one block south of Alki Beach Park, in one of the most sought-after areas of Seattle. Go kayaking, put in your paddleboard, take your kids to the Alki Playground and Whale Tail Park only two blocks east, visit the arcade one block north, and catch incredible sunsets on the sandy shore. You'll also be barely over two miles (an eight-minute drive) from the water taxi to downtown Seattle, easily reached via shuttle along Alki Beach. True to its name, the Storybook House has been hand-painted by a local artist to showcase a different children's book in each room. It's utterly charming, from the \ living room to \ eating its way through the kitchen. When you're not outside on the sun-splashed deck, there's wonderful space indoors for reading books or watching movies by the fireplace and playing games at the kitchen table. Whether you're making up your own world with \ or joining Max for a wild rumpus in \ the bedroom and bunk room promise the best of dreams. \ bathroom is darling in its own right, complete with a clawfoot bathtub. A folding crib, a high chair, many other amenities for small children like a sound machine, and a private washer/dryer are provided as well. Things to Know If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: Street parking is available on a first-come-first-serve basis; parking is not guaranteed. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
