I don't know how the other reviews could be so positive, but the only good thing about this cabin is it's lakefront location. Otherwise, the carpet disgusting, all furniture ancient, the whole place smells. No heater upstairs. A small electric heater provided for the entire upstairs. It took an entire day to warm the upstairs to about 65 degrees. The first night the children were freezing and had to sleep with jackets. The photograper/photoshoper should be given an award to make that place look so good in pictures.

The cabin was stunning and stuffed with all the creature comforts that you could ever want. The only thing that tops the fantastic service was the view from the master bedroom. My wife and I came up here to celebrate our honeymoon, and we couldn’t be happier with how things went. The staff was incredibly accommodating and professional. Can’t wait to go back!

Raccoons Den has a great location. Close to the village and other amenities. Lake view from deck and balcony are great. Some of the downfalls are no dishwasher, and trash has to be transported to a location a short drive away, outside of community. Home has basic kitchen necessities. Overall would recommend for a stay in Big Bear.
