About this stay

We want our beloved family home to be your peaceful retreat from the world. The three bedroom, three bathroom layout allows plenty of room for two couples to have their privacy. Or it can provide a flexible arrangement for a child to stay close to their parents since the twin bedroom adjoins the Master Suite. You'll find a large walk-in closet in the Queen Suite, and black-out curtains throughout. Our library has a wide-range of books to read, comfortable seats and a beautiful pottery collection on the shelves. There are plenty of places to sit or dine outside with two porches and a deck to choose from. Not long ago we ran a backyard nursery business here, and planted lots of pretty, blooming plants and shrubs that bring in humming birds and pollinators. We have the best neighbors in the world, and have known some of them for over 40 years. They are often outside, and watch out for our home. Wave at them and you'll likely end up in a conversation. We look forward to hosting you at our tranquil home. Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

First and foremost, our host, Debbie, was wonderful and incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We really enjoyed staying at this property. Our dogs appreciated the fenced-in backyard and were very excited to see the neighbor's chickens across the street. The home itself was very cozy. Some of the furniture and decorations are a little dated, but they add to the charm. Thankfully, the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated very recently, which made the stay that much more comfortable. The only VERY minor criticism we have is that the kitchen is not the best equipped for preparing a fully home-cooked meal. There are plenty of plates, silverware, pots, and pans, but the kitchen would benefit from a full set of knives to help with food prep. That said, we made do with some of the paring and other knives that were available. Thanks so much to Debbie for making this a comfortable stay for our family (dogs included). We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The house was as described. It was very clean and had a lot of charm. My only negative comment was the location is a pretty depressed area which is not disclosed. Despite that, we had no issues and did have a nice trip.

We were in the area for a memorial service for our older brother and wanted a centrally located place to rest between "events" over the weekend. This place had us 12-15 miles from the four locations we needed to be at, so that was great. The place was very clean, well appointed and comfortable for our 2-night stay and Debbie was more than accommodating, thank you for being a tremendous host.

The property was unique and peaceful. The fenced backyard was perfect for our mini golden doodle.

This was the most ‘complete’ home we’ve stayed in while in Greenville. It had everything we could need, especially in the kitchen. It was perfect for us and our in-laws, as it had separate wings for each of us to stay in and a large, common area for us to hang out in.
