That put a big dent in our vacation enjoyment.
There was only one nightstand and one night light in each bedroom. That was very inconvenient. We had to get a chair from the living room and a light to have a makeshift night stand.
There have been no kitchen towels, so we had to buy some and wash them to be able to dry our dishes.
No can or pot for making tea. We had to make our tea in a sauce pan.
There was no manual or description on how to work the Roku box for the TV.
We think the owner never slept in his own house to see how everything works and we have been probably the first renters.
We demand a partial refund for the false advertising which was a major drawback for us.
It was located in a lower income neighborhood but definitely safe. Neighbors were friendly. We arrived just a couple days after the storm and everything was ready for us when arrived.
The property manager contacted us several times before arrival and was so kind and answered our questions.
I was hoping the back yard was completely fenced being a dog friendly home. But it’s not. Not a big deal.
The only thing I would change is that it’s a little over staged (lots of decorative pillows, extra furniture, decor/accessories). It made it a little difficult to live in since it’s a smaller home. But that’s just me being overly picky.
It’s a lovely place to stay and we had wished they had availability to host us for one last week before closing on our home.
