For homes on Vrbo, message the host via Vrbo’s messaging. For hotels or other venues, contact the property directly.

Not required, but it improves results—our map and Barkley’s tips get more relevant when location is on.

No. DogsBnB is a referral engine (not a booking site). Clicking through our links costs you the same as booking direct. When a host has taken the Pledge, your booking helps dogs—win-win!

No. Registration unlocks perks like removing the #K9Go watermark, leaving reviews, and host verification features.

Cancellation policies are set by each property. Always read the policy on the property’s site before you book.

Return to the listing where you stayed or played and share photos plus highlights of your pup’s favorite parts. Home reviews may be subject to host verification.

We’re currently an affiliate of Vrbo, which lets us track bookings and cross-reference them with our Pawsitive Partners to verify donations. We can’t yet track direct bookings or other platforms (we hope to add these in the future).

When hosts list on DogsBnB, they commit to donating 5–20% of their nightly rate to one of our verified 501(c)(3) dog charities on the Pawsitive Partners page.

One Paw 🐾 — Pledged: The host has taken the Pawledge.

Two Paws 🐾🐾 — Verified: We’ve confirmed monthly donations with the chosen charity.

Higher Ranking: Verified impact helps hosts surface higher in search over time.

At month-end, our Outreach Coordinator cross-references DogsBnB-driven stays with our Pawsitive Partners. Listings that don’t complete verification may be removed from the platform.

Absolutely. Visit a Pawsitive Partner’s profile and click the red “Donate Now” button to give directly—no booking required.

Hosts: Donations to verified 501(c)(3) partners generate a receipt from the charity.

Travelers: If you donate directly via a partner’s “Donate Now” button, you’ll receive a receipt from that charity.

Look for paws on listings. We’re new and growing—so even when a listing hasn’t added paws yet, using DogsBnB helps us expand the program and onboard more verified partners.

• Complete your profile thoroughly (amenities, house rules, weight limits, fenced yard, senior-friendly notes, etc.).
• Add lots of clear, well-lit photos.
• Choose a Pawsitive Partner and donate monthly. Send each donation receipt to charities@dogsbnb.com (or the partner can verify directly).
• Stay responsive to guest messages and keep availability accurate.

Email charities@dogsbnb.com your mission statement and a photo/logo, and confirm you can track DogsBnB-originated donations (we’ll coordinate on verification). We’re onboarding gradually to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Barkley is powered by BarkLogic.ai—your loyal travel companion who combs the web and DogsBnB to answer questions about destinations, stays, and dog-specific travel tips.

Registering (and adding your pup’s details) lets Barkley personalize tips for your dog, destination, and current location. It also removes the #K9Go / #dogsbnb watermark on your custom creations.

Upload your dog’s photo to generate a fun, vacation-themed cartoon—great for prints, shirts, and stickers. All products are tested for quality and shipped by us (we do not outsource).

Custom items (e.g., #K9Go designs): Non-returnable.

Non-custom items: Return within 14 days for a full refund minus shipping.
